This satay stall offered tasty juicy chicken, pork or lamb satay at a decent and cheap price of only 35 cents per stick. And their satay are served with their unique and tasty pineapple-based satay sauce.

Nothing can beat the Best COMBO of good satay with good satay sauce. That explained why their daily customers queue are so long.

Their speciality is not only satay but also "Bak Kwa"(Dried Pork) and it is also available in the stall.

BLK 448 Clementi Food Market & Food Centre Clementi Ave 3 #01-21 S120448

Damn nice.

Personal Review:
  1. It opens at 3. We walked past it at 3.40 liddat.. no pple.. GOOD. So after walking about to quickly digest our PIZZA, we sat down and order 10 sticks. Go around 3 plus. No pple 1.
  2. The chao ta bits and the juicy fatty bit (the transparent looking part of the satay) all taste super good. Can say everything cook just nicely.
  3. The gravy is sweet plus the peanut taste really goes well with the whole dish.. even u dip cucumber, the cucumber also become very nice.
  4. The rice got flavor even if u eat it on its own.. add it with the gravy.. cheers
  5. When you pull the satay using your mouth to eat it, sometimes you will c some meat stuck on the stick.. this stall right, DON'T HAVE SUCH THING. And wad does that tell you? It means that the meat is cooked thoroughly. But yet it is not overcooked.
  6. When eating it reminds you of bak gua. Because of the chao ta bits.. crispy crispy but yet not bitter.
  7. Cucumber very crunchy and fresh, not bitter. Means they choose 'young' cucumber, meaning those small 1. Old 1 will bitter.
  8. Rice fresh and soft.. Yet it stick together very nicely. Chewy in your mouth. Add the gravy and it become very nice to eat.
  9. I finished all the cucumber because they taste very good. I dunno why also. I never even mix with the gravy..

This is a good place for those who like BBQ satay.. the standard is good.. on first mouthful u will feel that its the same as your house market those lup sup satay but as you continue eating, you will feel that no wonder they are famous. Its like on every satay, there is a little bit chao ta, a little bit fatty meat, cooked just nicely, not too oily.. you eat in ur mouth everything just fit perfectly and even if you add a cucumber into your mouth everything still fit perfectly.. i think the reason why they famous is because they found the secret to interweaving all the flavours into 1 tight package.. then in every mouthful u will experience the feeling again and again.. maybe is i think too much but then i recommend you all to go and try for yourself.. THEN YOU WILL NOE WAD I AM TALKING ABT!!! ENLIGHTENED~~~~~~~~~ beer 2

Price is $0.35 per stick and $0.40 for the rice.

cheers beer 2

my mum always buy then ask for more gravy.. then she will save some to cook pork n taupok with the gravy. become another dish for dinner Smile

their gravy is definitely better than the other stalls become their peanuts bits r bigger in size n the sauce is thick. others de normally is like watery?
